Copyright is intended to prevent spreading of information (books, etc.); “spreading of the word,” so to speak. Why a faith or religion (whatever you want to call it) would actively try and prevent this, I don’t know. Are they hiding something, you think?

Well aren’t they a nice bunch of people? For a start, you actually have trade secrets? Now, what sort of religion keeps things secret? I thought religions wanted to spread the word so more people could brighten their lives with your novel thoughts on things? And those that do spread the word are hunted down and criminalised?
