Just gone and bought myself a new mouse, the Logitech MX 1000. I was skeptical about buying a cordless mouse, as I’d heard (and had tried my friend’s older cordless mouse) that they suffering from delays, and general movement problems. But I thought I’d give one a go anyway. After some investigating I settled on said mouse.

Very impressed with it too! All the buttons work well (though the scroll wheel has a zoom function by default when pressed. I promptly changed it to the middle button setting), and there is no delay at all. Even after I’ve not used the mouse in 10 seconds or so and it’s gone into some sort of standby mode. It’s every bit as fast and responsive as a corded mouse. Ergonomics are excellent too, as I expected.

So, if you’re in the market for a new mouse, get this mouse. You’ll love it.
