Today I thought i’d treat myself by buying an Apple iPod. So far so good. I spend £300 on it, only to find when I get home that it doesn’t work with Windows out of the box (unless you have a firewire card, that is). However, its compatibility with Windows is plastered all over the box, making you think it will work immediately. I was a little unsure about this, so I asked one of the sales assistants, and they told me it would work fine. So now I have to fork out an extra £20 just for a damn cable that should have been included in the box in the first place. Bastards.
