Is it just me, or is there a lot of really good music these days? Its only a year or two ago that we were innondated (sp?) by loads of trashy pop bands, with no writing or singing ability. For example, Muse’s Absolution is pure genius. One of my favourtite albums of all time, no doubt. Every single track on it is great, once you give it a listen. The odd one seemed a little strange and slightly too ‘alternative’ for my tastes, but once you listen to the tracks in full, you gain a greater understanding of the songs. Whats more, the lyrics actually mean things.
Some other bands for you lot to checkout include Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand and Joss Stone (i’m not sure which version of fell in love with a boy/girl I prefer right now). Well, that was nice.
